You are what you think about most. Research shows that you have over 60,000 thoughts per day. Your self talk shapes your whole life – get your thoughts right and your life becomes right.
Without wanting to fill the site with a non stop stream of motivating quotes, those which have withstood the test of time have survived because they are quite clearly true. Henry Ford has been widely quoted as saying “If you think you can, or you think you can’t, then you are right!”
This directly refers to what you believe about your abilities in life, love, career or relationships. If you don’t believe you can do something, then no matter what anyone else tells you, your self talk will drag you down.
Even if you appear to be doing well, your subconscious will find a way to sabotage your plans. It does not know reality from imagination. If you feed your subconscious self defeating thoughts then it will run in the background to help you “achieve” those thoughts. Conversely, if you learn how to feed your subconscious positive self appreciating thoughts, then you WILL achieve what you desire.
